I styled the wig with rope braids to keep it from getting tangled, and to give the hair a nice weight and texture underwater.
I did some quick eye makeup and body glitter and sealed it with Ben Nye Final Seal. It didn’t budge even after hours of sweat and chlorine.

Ranger, a Husky and German Shepherd mix, is the beloved companion of Adam Daughtee, who owns Wandering Bard Meadery in Greenville, SC. Ranger was nervous to be on camera and did not like posing, but we got this shot when he suddenly decided to stand on top of a boulder and look epic.

I purchased my very first mermaid tail at 16 years old. Since then, I’ve spent hours in the pool with my sisters (and even my mom) decked out in mermaid tails and following each other around with a GoPro.
